Meet the Founder: A Priestess of Loki in the Heart of Sweden.
“My name is Eva-Katarina. I am a pagan, a witch, and a historian dedicated to a singular purpose: preserving the historical heritage of our ancestors and passing ancient wisdom to the next generation.
For fifteen years, I walked this path in solitude in the great north of Sweden. In the town of Boden, I created Häxan’s Hem (The Witch’s Home) – a sanctuary filled with ancient artifacts and the silent faces of the Scandinavian gods. It was there I realized a startling truth: over 90% of visitors could no longer recognize the icons of Thor, Odin, or Freya. The history of the North was fading into silence.
Yet, in the eyes of the children, I saw a spark of curiosity. It was then that Loki – the cunningly wise god whom I serve as a Priestess – bestowed upon me a life mission: to build a museum dedicated to him and the pantheon of Asgard.
Creating the Loki House Museum is a profound responsibility and a monumental task. But when you have the Trickster at your side, abandoning such a grand vision is not an option. Welcome to the archive of the gods.”
