Loki’s House is more than a destination; it is a sanctuary combining history and education. Here, we preserve the historical heritage and folklore of the North, offering a gateway to the ancient culture and religion of our ancestors.
Our museum provides unique, interactive content for all ages. Children embark on a fairy-tale journey through Scandinavian myths, while adults explore historical narratives and practical ancient wisdom – from runic writing and herbal medicine to deep Norse philosophy.
The Archive and Library
The heart of our house is a growing library of rare volumes. We meticulously collect unique publications, including a Swedish edition of the Edda from 1881, which has finally returned home to Sweden from a private collection in the Americas.
At Loki’s House, you don’t just observe history – you touch it. Through auditory and visual exhibits, genuine artifacts, and spiritual seminars, we offer a chance to become part of the living lore.
Balance and Adventure
In the routine of everyday life, many lose their sense of balance. Loki, the many-sided God, balances between light and shadow, teaching us to be responsible, creative, and resilient.

The Loki House Museum is currently undergoing a massive renovation. Like the Trickster himself, we are shedding our old skin to emerge in a new, more magnificent form.
Our halls in Lakaträsk are being reimagined to better house the legends and artifacts of the North. We are working day and night to create an experience that will bridge the gap between myth and reality.

Lakaträsk is a realm of profound silence and raw Northern nature, hidden deep within the Swedish wilderness. In this ancient village of only 15 souls, the first Loki House Museum is being born.
